FLA Thumb Spica Splint
This splint supports and limits the motion of the thumb joints while stabilizing the wrist and limiting rotation. By limiting motion during inflammation, associated thumb pain is greatly reduced. Made of unique C3 Tri-Laminate material that is cool and comfortable. Liner helps transport moisture away from skin and into the foam layer. Supple C3 material allows for changes in the amount of swelling. Anatomically conforming stay and hook and loop closures help restrict movement and provide maximum support.
Application:
Loosen closures. Slip injured thumb through elastic thumb loop with stays parallel to thumb and inside wrist. Using free hand, attach top stretch strap around injured thumb. Put wrist strap through loop lock buckle and close. Adjust for comfortable fit.
Measure around the center of wrist.
Universal - 5" - 11"
Fasten all closures. Hand wash in cold water with mild soap. Wrap in a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring). Air dry away from heat. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach.
