Bilateral Cinching Design
Focus Compression Over Painful Site: The BackJack Flex bilateral cinching design means that engaging the cinching mechanism pulls the lumbar panel into the spine, stabilizing the area and providing therapeutic pressure. The design also allows the wearer to adjust the panel from side-to-side to focus the pressure and heat/cold over the area of greatest pain.
DISC Technology
Dynamic Intervertebral Spinal Control (DISC) Technology provides a comprehensive system to stabilize and decompress the spine. The lumbar panel is linked to the rigid front and side panels with a double anchoring cable system. Tightening the BackJack Flex produces intracavitary pressure which reduces the load on stressed spinal discs and releases pressure on nerves.
BackJack Flex System
The Standard BackJack Flex System includes two hot/cold gel pads, one breathable foam pad, and a massage tool, all in an attractive and educational box.
For best pain relief, use Hot/Cold Gel Pad: Included are two blue gel pads for your convenience. One can be heating or cooling while the other is worn.
Heat Therapy: Heat provides a pain-relieving and healing effect. It has been shown that heat not only reduces pain, but also improves healing time. After heating the blue gel pad in the microwave for 30-60 seconds, attach to the multi-positional lumbar panel with the blue fabric over the black Velcro.
Cold Therapy: Cold therapy is used for pain relief. Early application of cold therapy after an injury will reduce swelling, encourage faster healing time, and shorten rehabilitation time. The blue gel pad is used for either hot or cold therapy. After freezing the gel pad for 30 - 45 minutes, remove from the freezer and attach to the multi-positional lumbar panel with the blue fabric over the black Velcro.
